OUR EVENING & AFTERNOON CALLS HAVE DIFFERENT TESTIMONIES

Testimonies and ideas to come as we share in Dream Oilers Lifestyle.

When Finn was around 8 months old, he decided that sleeping through the month wasn't for him anymore. Much to my dismay!I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am that we had oils to help him sleep through the night. We tried Lavender and Cedarwood (because that's what helped me sleep through the night before the first day of school which had NEVER happened in the past due to nerves) and quickly realized that it was NOT his combo!Next, we went for Peace & Calming, and it worked magically. Not only did he fall asleep quickly, he was also our for the entire night. Needless to say, it has been in his diffuser pretty much every night since then. As a mom of two young kids who also had to wake up super early to get to school and teach middle schoolers all day, this was such a blessing!!!Don’t be afraid to try different things!

Sleep can feel so elusive sometimes, can’t it?! It’s actually the top thing that I see new oilers struggle through compared with everything else. While we have lots of oils and supplements that can help, each person is different, and sometimes we have to play around quite a bit before we find our “magical formula”.Because of this, I want to offer a few tips when you’re trying to find what’s going to work for you.Try a single oil on its own first.I know how tempting it can be to see a post about what a great night sleep someone got diffusing xyz oils. The issue is, if you diffuse 2+ oils and they don’t work for you, it doesn’t necessarily mean ALL of them aren’t your sleep oil! There might be one in there that isn’t for you, but you won’t know it.Try each oil for a few days before giving up on it.Hear me here. When I diffused Lavender and Cedarwood one night and Finn woke up every hour, I immediately switched to something different (Peace & Calming the next night, and it worked!). With that being said, if something isn’t making your sleep horribly worse, give it a few days before adding something to it or trying something else. Your body may just need to adjust.Try using the oils in different ways (diffuse/topical/internal).Diffusing works AMAZING for our family, but I have friends who swear by rolling something on their neck/forearms/bottom of their feet before bed. Once you’ve found your oil(s), try it in different ways to see what works best for you.Don’t give up!I know it can be frustrating, but don’t give up, friend! With patience and consistency, you will find something that works for you!

CBD FOR SLEEPTypically, when taken sublingually (under the tongue), CBD enters the system in about 20 minutes. So for some people, results are immediate. For others it might take two weeks to a month to notice a difference. It also depends on your intended use for CBD. If you’re wanting support for sleep at night, you’re likely to see results immediately. If you’re supporting your body through chronic pain or inflammation, it is more likely to take longer. As with any supplement, it is important to be patient when starting CBD. Many people give up too soon or don’t do enough experimenting to figure out what dose is good for them. This is where keeping a log is very helpful! Just like essential oils, you have to find what works for you, and consistency is key!Two of our favorite CBD products for sleep are the dropper (try Cinnamon) and the Calm Roller!
