ESSENTIAL OILS FOR SKIN & HAIR

Essential oils are so amazing for your skin and hair. They nourish them and keep them looking their best. As we've talked about throughout this event, ridding toxins from your home will help you to see a huge difference in the appearance of your skin. Your skin is your largest organ, and what you put on it matters! Let's talk about a few oils and products you're going to love.

FRANKINCENSE

  • add a drop to your skin after cleansing (and toning if you use a toner) and before moisturizing

  • roll over face to smooth skin before bed

LAVENDER

  • add a drop to skin if you've been out in the sun too long or accidentally touch something hot

  • add a drop of Lavender and Frankincense to dry skin (can also make a cream with coconut oil or another natural cream)

  • add a drop to your mascara (a full tube) for lash growth

Valor

  • rub on any bumps to help slow/stop bruising

OUTSIDE THE PREMIUM STARTER KIT

A couple of popular oils outside the starter kit for skin and hair are Cedarwood and Tea Tree. Cedarwood is great for hair growth, so some people like to add a drop to their mascara and/or shampoo to help lashes and hair grow. Tea Tree is a great repellent for lice, so you can add it to your shampoo or make a detangling spray with it, Lavender, Cedarwood, and Peppermint. It's also awesome for breakouts.

You may also want to try one of YL's skincare systems: ART Skincare or Orange Blossom Skincare. ART is for sensitive and/or maturing skin; Orange Blossom is made for teenagers and/or acne prone skin.

You can also switch over to Young Living's Shampoo & Conditioner from the store bought kind to ditch even more toxins! They also have an entire line of bar soaps and body washes, including products specially made for babies and kids!
